FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr this morning announced the FCC’s next 5G order, which will streamline approval processes for the deployment of small cells. The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:

“Commissioner Carr has done a tremendous job building on the work started by states like Indiana to facilitate deployment of small cells and next generation 5G wireless technology. He has helped to lead the charge to ensure that the promise of 5G benefits American consumers in communities across the country. We look forward to seeing the full draft proposal and continuing to work with the Commission and its staff on this important initiative.”
