House Communications Subcommittee Ranking Member Mike Doyle (D-Pa.) and Vice Chair Leonard Lance (R-N.J.) have introduced the Advancing Innovation and Reinvigorating Widespread Access to Viable Electromagnetic Spectrum (AIRWAVES) Act. The following may be attributed to Tim McKone, AT&T Executive Vice President of Federal Relations:

“AT&T welcomes the introduction of the AIRWAVES Act in the House and we thank Representatives Doyle and Lance for their bipartisan leadership on this critical piece of legislation. By recognizing the importance of freeing up more high-band spectrum for 5G, and laying out a clear roadmap to make this happen, the United States will continue to lead the world in bringing newer, better and faster technologies to consumers and our economy.”
