The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:
“Today, after more than 15 years of uncertainty around utilizing Twilight Towers for broadband deployment, the FCC is moving forward with a solution that addresses historic preservation concerns while at the same time removing unnecessary regulatory barriers. This is great news for consumers. For far too long, Twilight Towers have often been unavailable for collocations, foreclosing opportunities to use existing infrastructure to deploy broadband to different parts of the United States. AT&T is excited about the significant steps the FCC is taking today, which will expedite the expansion of broadband networks for the benefit of all Americans.”
