The following statement may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:

“We applaud the FCC’s action to initiate a review of the wasteful and ongoing access stimulation schemes which hurt consumers by driving up market costs. AT&T previously joined with other industry parties in proposing a framework by which access stimulators would bear the financial responsibility for their activities, which the FCC includes in this Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. AT&T commends the FCC for undertaking this endeavor and we look forward to continuing to work with all parties to address this harmful behavior.”
