The following may be attributed to Joan Marsh, AT&T Executive Vice President of Regulatory & State External Affairs:

“A successful 39 GHz auction is critical to the FCC’s Spectrum Frontiers initiative and the rollout of 5G in the United States. This is the largest amount of contiguous spectrum available to wireless carriers for flexible use and harnessing this resource will ensure the U.S. maintains its leadership in the global race to 5G. We commend the Commission for adopting a new band plan and service rules that will protect existing 39 GHz license holders while rationalizing the entire band, and we encourage the Commission to move expeditiously with its incentive auction to ensure a timely repacking of this band.”
